Fabian Limberger aka Kommt Geht Flut beherrscht den Synthie und das gebellte Wort. Musikalisch zwischen Elektropunk und New-Wave. Bis zum Rand voll mit Melodien und Beats. Zwischen Lyrik und Phrasendrescherei.
Kommt Geht Flut ist ein deutschsprachiges Ein-Personen-Projekt. Ob vom Band oder live setzt es im Alleingang an, Genregrenzen auszuhebeln - machmal catchy, manchmal ungeschliffen.
Die neue EP „miniaturmensch“ treibt an und wühlt auf. Hier arbeitet sich ein Ich an den eigenen Zumutungen ab und entlarvt Ideale von gestern. Musikalisch werden zunächst Erinnerungen an Stern Fucking Zeit oder Egotronic wach. Hier geht es aber nicht um Rave und Ekstase, hier steht der Beat im Dienste der Lyrik. Besonders erkennbar im Track „Curfew“, mit Text und Stimme von Vanessa Franke.
Zum Anfassen gibt es 6 Karten im A5 Format, eine zu jedem Titel. Mit eigenem Motiv auf der Front und je einem Songtext zum Reinlesen und Ausrufen. Und Download-Code, denn über die Karten hinaus bleibt es digital.
Ein Co-Release der Mainz/Wiesbadener DIY-Labels Konglomerat Kollektiv und Katalog.
